🌸 Life Lately: Spring Sports, Big Moves & Fresh Starts
Spring has officially arrived (and in full
Force) , with it comes that familiar feeling of full calendars, longer days, and a whole lot of excitement. Life has been busy in the best way lately, here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to!
⚾ Game On: Spring Sports Are Here!
Spring sports are officially in full swing, and it’s safe to say we’re living at the fields right now.
Our oldest kicked off his baseball season with a first-game win, nothing better than starting the season on a high note! Meanwhile, the younger two have already played their first soccer games of the season, and watching them grow in confidence (and energy 😅) has been so fun.
We also had the opportunity to sponsor a t-ball team this season, which has been such a rewarding way to give back to the community. There’s just something special about seeing those little uniforms out on the field.
🤰 Halfway There & Still Moving
We’re officially just over halfway through this pregnancy, and I’m feeling really good overall (grateful for that!).
Staying active has been a priority, whether it’s getting into the gym, getting outside in the sunshine, or just keeping up with everyday life. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that movement (even the simple kind) makes a big difference in energy and mindset.
🏡 Real Estate & New Beginnings
On the business side of things, it’s been a season of growth and learning.
I recently put together a custom build package for buyers looking to relocate to Central Point, something that’s truly near and dear to my heart. With over 10 years of experience in new construction residential building projects, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the process from the ground up, which allows me to confidently guide clients every step of the way. Central Point is a community I love, and combining my passion for real estate with my background in building makes this a natural fit. With new construction continuing to be a strong option for buyers, having a clear, streamlined path, and an experienced expert on your side, can make all the difference.
At the same time, we’ve officially taken over our property management company, and let me tell you… it’s been a crash course! We’re:
- Setting up all new systems
- Managing a vacant property
- Tackling a list of repairs and improvements
It’s a lot but it’s also incredibly exciting to build something that will serve both owners and tenants well. We’re really trying to build something that we can be proud of and will do right by owners and tenants.

Spring is the perfect time to give your home a little attention after winter. A few simple maintenance tasks now can save you time (and money) later.
Here are a few easy ones to start with:
- Change your air filters (this improves air quality and HVAC efficiency!)
- Check and clean gutters
- Inspect your roof and exterior for any winter damage
- Service your HVAC system before summer hits
- Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
Keeping up with these small items helps protect one of your biggest investments, your home.
📊 Market Update: What’s Happening Now?
Interest rates have been holding fairly steady, which is giving both buyers and sellers a bit more predictability compared to the ups and downs we’ve seen in the past couple of years.
What this means:
- Buyers can plan a little more confidently
- Sellers are still seeing strong demand, especially in well-priced homes
- Spring inventory is starting to pick up (more options!)
